Subj: Some Points of Confusion and Some Modest Requests

GROUP 1: Topics that have been discussed right along.
1) No WMDs.
2) If any, they were not used.
3) There was no imminent threat, and looks like no long-range threat.
4) We were not attacked first, and what there was then was only in self defense.
5) Our POWs were not mistreated.

-------SO, why were our own principles of democracy and international institutions and relations OVERTHROWN?----is an explanation too much to ask?

GROUP 2: A topic that NEEDS much more explanation and discussion.
6) So, we forced a "regime change" on a sovereign country. Yet, we are supposedly NOT going to impose a particular regime, and that country's citizens are supposedly going to be free to choose their own government. So, this new regime will be autonomous? But what if it chooses, by its people's choice, to be hostile to us? Will it be immune to our "regime changing" again, or will it somehow have to be "chosen by its people" IN CONFORMITY to our dictates? What is the difference between this and "colonialism", again?

GROUP 3: Some Wishes:
7) Since the supposed threat level has been magically reduced to "orange" (are colors "reduced"?)----could the media "reduce" the thundering, throbbing, drumming bumper music----PRETTY PLEASE? AND "reduce" the video of the goofball soldier imposing some degenerate disco chirruping in front of some conquered boys? AND "reduce" the Nazi-style propaganda videos portraying Shrub as ---well, as Der Fuerher? AND "reduce" the video of a G.I. in a danger zone praying and saying, "God bless George W. Shrub" since the G.I. has his life in danger and Shrub doesn't? Why is there a suspicion that we will NEVER experience the "blue" or "green" color levels?
8) Since #7 is too much to hope for, this one will be even more far-fetched, but here goes: Could the media even ATTEMPT to PRETEND to perform a role of journalism, as opposed to purveying partisan propaganda, mawkish sentimentality, and bald-faced lies?
